Bright Helicopters, co-responsible for the award-winning aerial footage in Winter Dreaming, has changed its name to Discovery Helicopters. Craig Campbell and his team of pilots were completely open, supportive and collaborative over three consecutive years of filming. Swift but delicate, calculated manoeuvering was required over the whitewater rivers and snowy peaks of the Australian Alps, at times only 15 metres off the deck. The end result? Outstanding. Spectacular. Award-winning. Winter Dreaming‘s (http://eucalyptproductions.com/winterdreaming) aerial sequences truly capture the wild, wintry beauty of Australia’s alpine area, appreciated and celebrated globally by audiences in Japan, Austria, Canada, Russia and even in Antarctica.
Eucalypt Productions’ Stephen Curtain is proud to support Outdoor Spirit’s aim of encouraging people—no matter their age—to get ‘out bush’. If there happened to be a café latte and a home-baked muffin at the end of an outing, then even better!
